The School Lottery offers a simple and effective way for everyone to get involved and raise money for the school. It is a monthly draw open to parents, carers and staff of the school. It costs only £1 a month and 50% of the funds raised are given back as a monthly cash prize to the winning number holder.
How the Lottery works
Pay £1 per monthly draw up to and including August 2016. Payment is made as a lump sum for the year. Please refer to the lottery rules.
You will then be allocated one number per payment. You may purchase as many numbers as you like. The more numbers you purchase, the more chances you will have of winning!
On the 3rd Friday of each month (except for August which is drawn along with July’s draw) a draw is made during the Junior or Infant assembly and a cash prize equivalent of 50% of the funds collected for that month will be paid out to the holder of the winning number (it’s that simple!). The winning amount depends on how many people choose to take part in the lottery; the more people enter, the higher the winnings. How to Join
Complete a school lottery form which you can print at home or collect a copy from the school reception. Return the completed form along with the payment to the school office. Clearly mark the envelope ‘SOCHS Lottery’. We accept either cash or cheques, please make cheques payable to ‘SOCHS’.
